World Book Day!

World Book Day at Hampton Vale Primary School – Tomorrow! Tomorrow, Hampton Vale Primary School will be celebrating World Book Day and we can't wait! This year's theme, 'Stories from Around the World', will give our children the opportunity to explore books, tales and traditions from different cultures across the globe. We have an exciting day planned, including an immersive rainforest experience to truly bring stories to life and spark imaginations! Throughout the day, children will enjoy storytelling, creative activities and shared reading linked to our global theme. Children are welcome to bring in their favourite book to share with their class (please make sure it is clearly named). We can't wait to see everyone dressed up in their fantastic costumes and to enjoy a wonderful day of reading together!

MUSICAL MASHUP WORKSHOPS! You spoke and I listened! Lots of you have messaged me asking if I'm doing any Easter workshops and the answer is YES! Not just one day but TWO! This is NOT to be missed!! Check out what we're offering this Half Term Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st March 9:30am- 1:30pm Hampton Vale Primary Academy Musical Mash Up Theme- learn a variety of musicals, songs, dances, games and non stop fun with a performance to parents at the end of day 2! (Optional to attend one day if needed) £30 for one day, £50 for 2 days! Scholastic Book Fair We are hosting a Scholastic Book Fair from Thursday 5th March – Tuesday 10th March, open to parents after school in the Studio. Allocated days are as follows: Thursday 5th March – Nursery & Reception Friday 6th March – Year 1 & Year 2 Monday 9th March – Year 3 & Year 4 Tuesday 10th March – Year 5 & Year 6 Children can purchase books at the fair or complete a wishlist to buy online at home. Payments can be made by scanning the QR code provided. We will accept cash (exact money only, as no change will be available). Every book purchased helps us earn FREE books for our school – thank you for your support!

Exciting start to the week at Hampton Vale! We are thrilled to share that we have discovered frogspawn in our Forest School pond! Over the next few weeks, every class will have the opportunity to observe the fascinating process of metamorphosis up close. The children will be watching carefully as the frogspawn develops into tadpoles and, eventually, frogs discussing and exploring the changes they notice along the way. What a fantastic real-life learning experience for our young scientists!
