Cracking the Code at The Peterborough School!

Our Year 6 pupils recently stepped into the world of Sherlock Holmes as they took part in an exciting Code Breaking Day at The Peterborough School!
Throughout the day, our budding detectives tackled a range of challenging puzzles and activities, putting their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills to the test. From organising letters and recognising patterns to cracking a variety of codes, the children embraced each challenge with enthusiasm and curiosity.
Working collaboratively, they shared ideas, explored different approaches and supported one another when the puzzles became tricky. Their grit, determination and resilience shone through as they persevered, demonstrating that sometimes the greatest discoveries come from thinking creatively and never giving up!
We were incredibly proud of the way our Year 6 pupils worked together and represented Hampton Vale Primary Academy. They were fantastic ambassadors for our school, showing that teamwork, a positive attitude and a curious mind can help us overcome even the most puzzling challenges.
Well done, Year 6! You were super sleuths and certainly cracked the code!
