OFSTED

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following on from our Ofsted inspection last term, I am extremely pleased to be able to share the final report with you. As you will be aware, five years ago the school was described as Inadequate by Ofsted and they identified the need for rapid improvement. The immense effort of all our children, staff and the wider Trust has enabled an incredible transformation to take place and it is great that this has now been recognised by Ofsted. Mrs Chamberlain and I could not be more proud of our children, staff and wider community.

Hampton Vale Primary Academy is now judged to be a ‘Good’ school overall however ‘behaviour and attitudes’, ‘personal development’ and ‘leadership and management’ have all been deemed to be Outstanding.

Whilst I hope you are able to read the full report, here are a few highlights:

‘Pupils love attending Hampton Vale.’

‘Pupils do not give up when things are hard. They keep going, and this means they achieve highly.’

‘Pupils’ behaviour is excellent.’

‘Adults have very high expectations of what pupils can achieve.’

‘Leaders have ensured that pupils’ personal development is highly targeted to support all pupils.’

‘Leaders have ensured safeguarding is a whole school priority.’

Please take some time to read the full report attached. We are incredibly proud of how wonderful our school is and this is a true reflection on Hampton Vale as a whole community. Thank you for your continued support over the past 5 years and we look forward to seeing the next steps for the school going from strength to strength. Please do feel free to share the report and Ofsted outcome with your friends and family as this will be published online during September.
