Remote Learning

Regardless of the circumstances, at Hampton Vale we believe that all children have the right to an effective education whether they are in school or have to stay at home.

If your child is required to self-isolate or remain off school due to Coronavirus, then work will always be made available via Google Classroom. Once you have notified the school office, work will be uploaded to your child’s Google Classroom account.

Work will be a combination of guided activities through Oak Academy and work currently being completed in the classroom. This is designed to support our staff’s ability to provide work for children at school as well as at home.

During the isolation period, the class teacher will be in touch to discuss learning moving forwards. You can also contact the school office for support.

In the case that a large group of children from one class are forced to isolate, other options will be considered to support remote learning.

Please be reassured that there is no expectation for your child to complete work if they are ill from the virus. They should only complete work when they are fit and able to do so.
